Qualitative data
From Wikipedia
- use drop.io or a combination of Hispeed conferencing in Skype along with Callgraph (desktop based skype call recorder) for recording a conference call. During call all phones/microphones should be muted to avoid background noise, with the exception of interviewer and interviewee
- after interview file should be downloaded from Drop.io or incase of callgraph identified from the saved folder and added to activecollab project, which will also contain links to atlas.ti analysis files (see below)
- guidelines for transcription are available here, each transcription should be in a separate google document with their links inserted in the manuscript while it is being written (deleted for final draft)
- link for atlas.ti download and manual
- additional details about qualitative data collection should be added to the manuscript (see template) at the time of data collection rather than at the end of the project
- backup plan - use call graph in tandem with drop.io
